Whether he is someone close to us (family member, professor, friend, etc) who serves as an inspiration or someone from the distant past who fought for the something that made us enjoy the convenience we have now; we all have heroes to look up to in our lives. This is probably why in some way everybody seemingly wants to be a hero or inspiration to others; the same fascination and tendencies why superheroes in entertainment media have boomed. Who does not want to have a super powered hero?
But like the real life heroes, we can’t have over-powered superheroes as it takes the challenge out of reading or watching their exploits.
